Congratulations to Captain John Hemmings on receiving the prestigious Firefighter of the Year Award for 2024.  We are so proud of you!  And, congratulations to Captain Marc Albrecht and Battalion Chief Patrick Calhoun on reaching the 20-year milestone with Avra Valley Fire District.  What an accomplishment!  An Award of Merit was presented to Firefighter Hayden Seitz for his outstanding commitment to our wildland program. Way to go!  And congratulations also to Chief Delfs on dedicating 15 years of service to the District.  Thank you for your service!
